My sister stole my man

The matter before the court today.

Brought by blueman

My boyfriend of 5 years broke up with me last December. He said he needed to find himself, and I was heartbroken.

Three months later, my younger sister announced she was getting married.

Guess who the groom was? MY EX. 😭

Apparently, they'd been seeing each other before we broke up.

I cut my sister off completely. But last week, she showed up at my house crying, saying I'm ruining her happiness by refusing to attend her wedding.

Then she dropped the bombshell: she wants me to be her MAID OF HONOUR because “family is family.”

My mother says I should put the past behind me. My friends say I should attend, smile for the pictures, and expose them during my speech. 😂

But honestly, I want nothing to do with either of them.

The question before the court

Am I wrong for refusing to attend my own sister’s wedding?

  • NOT GUILTY. Blood is not a free pass to betray your own sister. She owes them nothing.
  • GUILTY. She can be hurt and still attend. Refusing to go will divide the family further.
  • BOTH SIDES ARE WRONG. The sister crossed a line, but the family needs to stop pressuring her to forgive.

The final judgment

The court finds in favour of: NOT GUILTY. Blood is not a free pass to betray your own sister. She owes them nothing.

The tied option whose final vote was recorded first won the tie-break; vote row order is the server's deterministic evidence.
